The concept of this market remained very traditional. You will find a lot of specialities and often unusual items, posters, old weapons, bronzes, books or discs but also military cloths among other things. Here, we bargain-hunt without showing out on rough stalls as if all the items were coming from the attic. Only recently, this market decided to renovate while keeping its personal charm. This place is really worth seeing.
It is said quite rightly that this market stayed true to the original spirit of the Puces. It’s true; the smell of a second-hand shop brings to life these two covered alleyways uniquely accessible at the end of the street rue Jules Vallés, precisely at the number 7.
Here, you have few chances to find antique dealers as they come there as simple customers looking for good addresses. This market, hosting 120 stalls, is open from Thursday and Friday morning, very early, but unfortunately for professional customers.
On the week-end, the merchants the most respectful of the old traditions of the Puces and private individuals will come to work properly. Together, they represent the artisans of the recovery. Indeed, this market wish to recover the rest of the Puces: these artisans don’t want to be far from the rue des Rosiers and will try everything not to be forgotten. Contact details
